The Posh have a bad afternoon as Mark Wright returns to London Road. One of the few positives from the game is the re-appearance of Simon Yeo. Chester City's Jonathan Walters has the ball in the net after only 9 minutes, then Mark Arber scores an own-goal after 40. Lloyd Opara makes his first start after returning from injury but can't make an impact: he is brought off at half-time, along with Shane Huke. The changes lift the team briefly, but Peterborough, missing Aaron McLean, can't find the net. Mark Tyler is taken off injured, leaving Dean Holden in goal — Luke McShane, recently returned from a loan spell at Worksop Town, is the club's only available keeper for the game with Lincoln City next weekend.
