Keith Alexander defends his selection policy prior to the game against Championship side Plymouth Argyle. Posh keep the Pilgrims at bay until the 74th minute. Mark Tyler superbly saves Hasney Aljofree's penalty, but Carl Boyeson orders a re-take. Two bottles are thrown at the Plymouth players following their 'celebrations' in front of the London Road End. Their lead doesn't last long, however, as new signing Josh Low sets up Aaron McLean for his first goal in 5 games. Aljofree apologises for his actions after the mach, but his manager, Ian Holloway, is clearly unhappy, “To celebrate like that was a disgrace and I would have thrown a bottle at him myself.”
