Posh are again without luck, failing to score any points at the Memorial Stadium. The team start brightly, but Rickie Lambert pounces to put the home side in front after 14 minutes. After finding his side 2 goals down, Darren Ferguson throws on Danny Crow and d├ębutant Shane Blackett — the former scores 10 minutes later, then Aaron Mclean nets the equaliser. Posh are unable to grab a winner, however, and, in injury time, Stuart Campbell scores a 25-yard free-kick to steal all the points. Josh Low then hits the bar with his own long-distance shot and Richard Butcher heads the rebound over the bar.
