Darren Ferguson keeps the same team that defeated Rochdale and Southampton, but Posh find themselves 3-0 down within 35 minutes. Rotherham Utd strikers Derek Holmes and Chris O'Grady grabs the goals, aided by lapses in concentration by Ferguson's defence. Aaron McLean and Josh Low have a series of chances but are unable to find the target, while George Boyd has a goal dissallowed. Chris Westwood replaces Shane Blackett at half-time, but Posh are lucky not to concede any further goals. Dean Keates goes close with a volley, but few chances are created until his corner on 88 minutes gives McLean the chance to score a powerful header.
